Do

  • Stand back a step to give kids the glass.
  • Lower voices in enclosed galleries.
  • Avoid tapping glass — wait and watch behaviors unfold.
  • Move aside briefly after getting your shot.

Don’t

  • Block a window for too long.
  • Use flash or bright phone screens in dark spaces.
  • Lean on railings or place bags on ledges.

Photo Etiquette

  • Keep elbows in and step back after a few frames.
  • Offer the spot to kids and wheelchair users next.
  • Disable shutter sounds in quiet galleries if possible.
